Crop Alerts is the global commodity weather-risk system Marcus Weather's institutional clients rely on.

Over the past 20 years, Marcus Weather Inc. has developed and catalogued thousands of meteorological, climatological and agronomic risk rules. Our system continuously evaluates these rules across specific crops, locations and stages of the growing season to identify weather conditions that could threaten crop yields.

We monitor every major producing region worldwide across grains, oilseeds and soft commodities for conditions that threaten yield, including heat, dryness, excessive wetness, disease and more.

Each alert identifies the affected crop and region, maps the developing threat and forecasts the percentage of production area affected by said alert
